Hi and welcome to The Herd website. I encourage all members of The Herd to download the Calendar Mod from our download section of the game. It is something we will use going forward to schedule events and raids. Also if you have not done so please download Ventrilo. It is a program we use to talk while in game, instances, and to socialize. Our server can hold up to 50 people so I would like to see some good use come out of it.

New News:

We Welcome newcomers to The Herd from Dark Faction. I hope that your stay here is a good fit. For those of you who are new here I would like to let you know a little bit about The Herd. We are very family and friend oriented. Many people here are brothers, husbands, wives, sons, daughters, etc. of other guildmates. We keep the atmosphere light. We will not tolerate drama. We are not a raiding guild or a pvp guild. We are a guild of people who have fun working together and try and reach goals to advance our level of fun in the game.

We do not allow swearing although if you are in ventrillo please do not feel offended if someone slips accidentally as we will usually apologize for swearing. Swearing in guild chat is not accepted.

If someone bothers you please feel free to contact Shaemus or any of the officers in our guild. The same goes for you as it does for all of our guildmates. If you are offending someone you may receive a whisper from our officers to please stop. If you wish to discuss it with them please whisper them back and be polite and kind. If you take attitude with an officer while engaging them in conversation about something they may have whispered you on can result in dismissal from the guild. We are a group of very easy going officers and we do try to listen to both sides of the story, but we are human too and being attacked in conversation will not be tolerated.

I have been told that most of you have not had much experience in running instances. I ask that you be open minded when we go into a run and willing to listen to other Herd members for advice. We are always very helpful and we don't look to point fingers at people if a wipe occurs. Please ask questions and if you are new to the instance do not feel shy in letting us know. We often have walked into a place not knowing anything and as soon as some of us have been through an instance we tell everyone tips on fighting bosses and being organized. Our guild thrives on information and we want you to be a part of it. Down the road as you gain knowledge please share it with us your fellow guildmates as well.
